H.E.R.O. Anti-Bullying Breakfast

at the Poe Center for Health Education

Join your fellow North Carolinians at the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 7:30 am, and start your day the H.E.R.O. way!

In honor of our newest program, Don't Stand By: Be a H.E.R.O., the Poe Center will offer a complimentary breakfast to community members interested in learning about our latest anti-bullying initiatives.

This program seeks to evoke sustainable, social change by empowering the bystander(s) to speak out against bullying behavior(s). Over time, these actions will result in an environment not welcoming or supportive of bullying. Bullying is not and will not be tolerated, accepted or considered "cool"!

There is no cost to attend, however, a suggested donation of $10 is welcome and will help us provide this and other health education programs to the children, youth and families of North Carolina!

RSVP by January 15 on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SeymourPoe, by contacting Ashley Roberts-Orlovich at a.roberts@poehealth.org or by calling the Poe Center at (919) 231-4006 or 1 (866) 402-4799.
Please pass this event information along to any individuals and organizations interested in learning more about Poe's anti-bullying efforts!
