Dana Orr, BS, MBA
Senior Health Educator
Dana grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. She attended Penn State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and West Chester University where she received her Masters degree. Dana has worked in the health and wellness industry for over 25 years. She has spent these years presenting health policy and education programs in health care facilities, school, community, and faith-based settings.
Dana has been married for over 22 years to her husband Bill. Together they have 4 children and a dog. When not at the Poe Center Dana can be found spending time with her family or being outside and involved in the community.
Dana is passionate about health and education, and is enthusiastic about working at the Poe Center! She loves being able to contribute to the Poe Center’s mission to educate and empower North Carolina children, youth, and families to make choices that increase positive health behaviors. She shares the Poe Center’s vision that all North Carolina children and youth become healthy adults.
