Bullying Uncovered: What Parents and Other Adults Need to Know at Union Middle School

Parents, guardians, educators and counselors are invited to a FREE workshop on bullying prevention and how to identify if your child is being bullied or if bullying is happening at your school.

The workshop, “Bullying Uncovered: What Parents and Other Adults Need to Know”, will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Union Middle School, located at 455 River Road, Clinton NC 28328.

This workshop is presented by the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education.

Bullying is a serious issue in our schools and communities with long-term effects lasting into adulthood. The Poe Center’s Bullying Uncovered program empowers caring adults with vital information about how to identify and address bullying. Learn about cyberbullying, why it’s different and what effects it may have on your child. Get more information about the latest trends in online activities and texting. Hear about the most recent research including statistics and best practices for dealing with bullying.

Parents and adults who work with elementary, middle and high school students are strongly encouraged to participate! This program is for ADULTS ONLY!
