Parents, guardians, educators and counselors are invited to a FREE workshop on drug and alcohol abuse and ways to equip young people with the skills to make healthy choices.

The workshop, “Drugs Uncovered: What Parents and Adults Need to Know”, will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Fuquay-Varina High School Auditorium, located at 201 Bengal Blvd, Fuquay Varina 27526.

Participants will learn about trends in substance abuse and ways to communicate effectively with children and teens about these issues. All attendees will also receive free materials, including resources to educate young people about being drug-free and alcohol-free.
