PlayWELL Park KaBOOM! Build Day

06/08/2017 - 06/10/2017 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The Poe Center for Health Education and MetLife Foundation are building a playground!

Your help is needed to prepare for this exciting day!

Play is central to a child’s ability to grow into a productive adult. Together, we can ensure kids get the balance of play they need to thrive! Please join us and show that play matters to you.

On June 10th, volunteers from the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education and MetLife Foundation will build a great new place for kids to play in ONE day. The project is in partnership with KaBOOM!, the national nonprofit dedicated to giving kids the childhood they deserve by bringing play to those who need it most. There are three upcoming opportunities to get involved.
