Resource Development Specialist
ext. 306

Ashley Orlovich joined the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education in April of 2011 as the Development Director. Graduating in 2004 from Creighton University with a B.A. in journalism and in 2010 from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a M.A. in psychology, Ashley’s past experience includes a director-level position in marketing for a private university dining and catering vendor in Chicago, Illinois, followed by a regional business development associate position with a global business consultancy headquartered in the UK. In her current role, Ashley works closely with Poe staff to initiate, foster and develop relationships with North Carolina constituencies for the purpose of fundraising and solidifying Poe’s statewide position as a leader in the field of health education.

Originally from Chicago, Ashley recently moved to Raleigh with her husband, Adam, and trusty sidekick, Kingsley (a loveable black Labrador Retriever). While not at work, Ashley enjoys spending time outside, visiting family and friends, travelling, painting and refinishing vintage furniture, reading, trying new restaurants and, of course, shopping.
