Kathleen Armstrong, after teaching high school art both in North Carolina and abroad, is currently pursuing a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from North Carolina State University.

Her passion for the environment was fostered during her childhood family trips to the mountains and later her time at Appalachian State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and Agroecology.
