Remi Ham is from Hampton, VA, where as a kid her love for the landscape grew from working in the yard alongside her mother. She graduated with a bachelor’s in urban and environmental planning from the University of Virginia, where after Remi worked as a city planner. With a masters in landscape architecture, Remi’s research and work focused on incorporating edible landscapes into academic curriculums and designing learning landscapes for children.

Following graduate school, Remi moved to Boston, MA where she worked as an assistant project manager within Harvard University’s Planning and Project Management department. While in Boston, Remi also served as a children’s program coordinator for graduate families at MIT. She has designed a number edible gardens, ranging from rooftop to elementary school gardens.

Beyond work, Remi enjoys spending time with her family, testing new cake recipes, and getting her hands dirty in the yard.
