SUMMARY:Lunch with Poe: Kids Eat FREE at PlayWELL Park
DESCRIPTION:Lunch with Poe: Kids Eat FREE at PlayWELL Park\n\n\n\nJoin us Wednesdays this summer at the Poe Center’s PlayWELL Park for lunch (provided at no cost for you) and fun health-themed activities. \n\n\n\nEvery Wednesday from June 25th through July 30th between 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSummer is the hungriest time of the year for many kids. Students rely heavily on meals served at school throughout the year. Free meal programs\, like the Poe Center offers\, help fill the gaps when school is out during the summer. \n\n\n\nThanks to funding from the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program\, which serves over 1.5 million North Carolinians\, the Poe Center serves over 300 meals to local children during the summer. #SNAPEdWorks \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEnglishEspañol\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDate:\n\n\n\nWednesday\, July 2\, 2025 \n\n\n\nTime:\n\n\n\n11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. \n\n\n\n(Meals served between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) \n\n\n\nLocation:\n\n\n\nPlayWELL Parkat the Poe Center for Health Education224 Sunnybrook RoadRaleigh\, NC 27610 \n\n\n\nWho?\n\n\n\nYouth 18 years and younger \n\n\n\nHave questions?
