DESCRIPTION:Register Here\n\nRegister Here\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGirl Talk 2: Daughter & Mother/ Trusted Adult Workshop\n\n\n\nThis workshop is best suited for girls in 6th thru 8th grade.  \n\n\n\n\nRegister Here\n\nRegister Here\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGirl Talk 2 for 6th-8th graders is a unique workshop designed for middle school aged girls and their parents.  \n\n\n\n\nGirl Talk is a recommended prerequisite for Girl Talk 2. \n\n\n\n\nThis interactive\, two-hour workshop discusses the growth and development girls experience during puberty\, the structure and function of the male and female reproductive systems\, the menstrual cycle\, fertilization\, and conception. Internet safety\, peer pressure\, abstinence\, and sexually transmitted diseases are also introduced.  \n\n\n\nThe program has been designed with activities that facilitate and encourage open parent-child communication.  \n\n\n\nThis program is for girls AND their parent/ trusted adult.
