Parents, guardians, educators and counselors are invited to a FREE workshop on drug and alcohol abuse and ways to equip young people with the skills to make healthy choices.

The workshop, “Drugs Uncovered: What Parents and Adults Need to Know”, will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at McGee’s Crossroads Middle School, located at 13353 N Carolina 210, Benson 27504.
Recently updated and enhanced, the Poe Center’s DRUGS UNCOVERED explores the teenage drug, alcohol and tobacco culture of today. Participants will learn about trends in substance abuse and ways to communicate effectively with children and teens about these issues. All attendees will also receive free materials, including resources to educate young people about being drug-free and alcohol-free.
