Internet safety\, peer pressure\, abstinence\, and sexually transmitted diseases are also introduced.  \n\n\n\nThe program has been designed with activities that facilitate and encourage open parent-child communication.  \n\n\n\nThis program is for girls AND their caregivers. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth\, reviews typical adolescent development\, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. \n\n\n\nTopics covered include anxiety\, depression\, substance use\, disorders in which psychosis may occur\, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD)\, and eating disorders. \n\n\n\nWe are limited to 30 participants.
