#YouthCulture: Adolescent Brain Development and the Role of Social Media hosted at Alliance Health

Parents, guardians, educators and counselors are invited to a FREE workshop on the environment and culture around our youth.

The workshop, #YouthCulture:  Adolescent Brain Development & Social Media, will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Alliance Health, located at 521 Brightleaf Blvd, Smithfield, NC, 27577, in room 627.

This program is presented by The Poe Center.

In #YouthCulture: Adolescent Brain Development & Social Media, participants learn about current research on adolescent brain development and teen risk perception. Participants will also explore how a risk perception impacts a teen’s engagement with social media and Internet security.

Parents and adults who work with elementary, middle and high school students are strongly encouraged to participate! This program is for ADULTS ONLY!
