Make your year-end gift today!

You can empower kids just like Sarah, Jayden, and Madison across North Carolina to take charge of their health. Your generous year-end donation will fund programs that teach skills to prevent bullying and substance use, improve nutrition and physical activity, avoid illnesses and injuries, and develop positive relationships — creating a healthier North Carolina.

Honor a Loved One:

Honor or remember someone special with the gift of your donation.
Do you have a child, teacher, family, mentor or friend you would like to honor? The individual or family you honor will receive an acknowledgement card (pictured left) and their name will be placed on our website’s Virtual Honor and Memory Book.
And your support will give the gift of health education to a child, family or classroom.
Make it Monthly, Make a Difference:
Recurring gifts make a difference! Please consider giving monthly and help sustain year-round health education programming. Twelve monthly gifts of just $25 will enable an entire class of students to take a field trip to the Poe Center.
Double the Donation, Double the Impact:
Ask your employer about corporate matching. Many employers generously match employees’ charitable contributions.
Tax Deductible:
Donations are 100% tax deductible. The CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) ACT expanded incentives for charitable giving. Individual taxpayers can now claim an “above-the-line” deduction of up to $300 for cash donations made to charity during 2020. Other provisions include higher charitable contribution limits for corporations and individuals who itemize their deductions.
