Have you ever wondered what harvesting honey looks like? Buzz into this virtual honey extraction event with Bee Downtown! Join the Bee Downtown team as we uncap, pick & spin honey frames to harvest your 2023 honey crop at our certified Honey House. Follow along & ask questions as we take you through the entire extraction process, harvesting all of that sweet liquid gold, to reach our goal yield of 20,000 pounds! The Poe Center’s Garden Health Educators will be with us along the way to answer your questions about pollinators, honey, gardening, and more.
PLUS… groups who join us have a chance to win a special prize!
The program will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. and continue for one hour. Groups are welcome to come and go from this virtual event as needed, but questions will be answered at the end of the session.
