The Poe Center extends our empathy and support to our Jewish staff, friends, and constituents. Hateful speech by one person or by many leads to hateful actions and can not be tolerated. We condemn antisemitism and reaffirm our commitment to disrupt bullying behaviors in all forms.

As health educators, we know that hateful words and actions are traumatic. Traumatic stress can lead to a myriad of mental and physical health problems. We encourage educators and parents to use these resources to help children, youth, and other adults understand these issues, cope with the related stress, and learn to be a positive force against hate in any form.
