Little Bluestem is a perennial, ornamental, warm-season grass. It grows from two to four feet tall and is drought-resistant. The leaves and stems have a bluish cast in the summer and a copper hue in the fall and winter. The yellow-orange leaves also provide nice color in the garden. Bluestem is a host plant to various butterflies and moths, meaning caterpillars live and lay their eggs here!
