Nakisha T. Floyd, MA, MEd, CHES has over 20 years of professional experience in the field of health education with an emphasis on sexuality education. Her areas of interest include adolescent health, trauma-informed approaches, social justice, and ethnic health and health disparities.  She uses her expertise to help organizations across the U.S. to develop and implement anti-oppressive sexuality education programs. In addition to providing health education to individuals and communities, Nakisha serves as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Public Health Education at North Carolina Central University. 

Nakisha holds an M.Ed. in Human Sexuality Education (Widener University), an M.A. in Health Education and Promotion (East Carolina University), and a B.S. in Health Education (North Carolina Central University). Nakisha is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Widener University.
