Robin Pittman is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and the Family Life Program Director at the Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education.  At the Poe Center, Robin provides leadership for the team delivering Human Growth and Development and Reproductive Health and Safety Education in schools and other community settings across the state of North Carolina. Robin also supervises a team of Health Educators in the Triad area of North Carolina to expand the Poe Center’s services and programs. She has extensive experience in the areas of positive youth development, sexual health, teen pregnancy prevention, and puberty education to adolescence. She has worked with a diverse population in school and community settings, creating, implementing, and facilitating health programs and igniting policy, systems, and environmental change.

Robin’s passion is to increase positive health behaviors in youth and to bridge the communication gap between parents and children toward building stronger family relationships. Robin has completed her BS in Community Public Health Education with a minor in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She also has a MS in Human Science with a concentration in Health Promotion from North Carolina Central University.
