After Hours Program
The 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) program is authorized under Title IV, Part B of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
The 21st CCLC After Hours Program, simply referred to as After Hours, is a collaboration between the Poe Center and three high schools in Wake County – East Wake, Enloe, and Southeast Raleigh.
This 28-week after-school program is held Monday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the academic school year at each school site. After Hours provides academic enrichment, youth development, career awareness, and related educational development activities for students and families. Through program activities, After Hours strives to increase the social, physical, and emotional well-being of participating students. All students 9th through 12th grade are eligible to participate in the program.
