Girl Talk: Mother/Trusted Adult & Daughter Workshop - In Person Session

October 23, 2021 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Join us IN PERSON for the Poe Center’s popular Girl Talk workshop.

Presented by the Poe Center, Girl Talk addresses the timely topic of adolescent growth and development and the physical, social, and emotional changes that girls experience during puberty.

Join Poe’s expert health educators for fun and meaningful online activities and candid discussions designed to help mothers/trusted adults and daughters explore a range of topics from the workings of the reproductive system to the menstrual cycle to feminine hygiene protection and more. We will also provide mothers/trusted adults and daughters with activities and worksheets for continuing this discussion after Girl Talk is over.

A recent participant of our Girl Talk workshop shares “It was such a comfortable, fun, and educational experience for us all. It was so refreshing to see my daughter speaking with such ease about a topic that historically girls and woman have struggled to be so open about. Thank you, and your team, for the amazing services you are providing to our community”.
