At the Poe Center, we are dedicated to helping North Carolinians make healthy choices. This includes
sexual-health education, including reproductive health.

We reaffirm our commitment to provide a holistic approach to sexual health education which provides medically accurate and age-appropriate information on growth and development, reproductive anatomy, abstinence, FDA-approved contraceptive methods, sexually transmitted infection facts and prevention, sexual assault/abuse, protective factors and risk reduction, healthy relationships, consent, decision making, goal setting, values, and communication.
