Hellebores, or Lenten Roses, are a bushy perennial flower that offers winter interest when the pink flowers bloom in winter and early spring. They are known for producing single, cup-shaped flowers referred to as hybrid winter roses. They typically grow 12 to 15 inches tall and stay evergreen all year round in mild climates. Congested clumps can be divided into new plants in the late summer or early fall to give to a neighbor or friend.
